The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boa wants to clinch
enabling Sparza to counter with a crisp jab.
Boa looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Boa tries to clinch but Sparza moves away

and Sparza counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boa has momentary wrist control but Sparza slips an elbow through the middle.
Sparza controls from within his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sparza lands a couple of elbows.
Sparza works over Boa with some ground and pound from guard.

Boa is rocked!
Sparza arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Boa's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
