The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donnelly throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Faria was covering up waiting for the punch and Donnelly finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Donnelly passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Donnelly stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Donnelly fails with a takedown attempt.
Donnelly shoots for a double leg takedown but Faria sprawls well. He's pushed Donnelly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
