Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Mayhem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cyril Kivel!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhem avoids the head kick by Kivel.

Kivel gets a clinch.
Kivel tries to pull guard but Mayhem won't allow it.
Mayhem is trying to break free.
Kivel fails to pull guard.
Kivel pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Mayhem's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kivel tries to pull guard but Mayhem holds him up against the cage and eventually Kivel drops back down to his feet.
John Mayhem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cyril Kivel.
Kivel changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mayhem fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mayhem throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mayhem lands with an uppercut that bounces Kivel off the cage and back into rage.

It looks like Cyril Kivel has been cut.
Kivel takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kivel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mayhem.
Cyril Kivel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mayhem dips to his left and cracks Kivel with an uppercut!
Mayhem darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Kivel is rocked!

Nice sprawl there from Mayhem as Kivel shoots in.
Kivel is still on wobbly legs! Can Mayhem finish him?
Mayhem punishes Kivel's body with a nice straight punch.
Mayhem lands a nice hook to Kivel's body. Kivel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kivel seems to have recovered his senses.
Kivel looks gassed!
Mayhem scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kivel doesn't seem bothered though.
Kivel takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

That has opened up Cyril Kivel's cut even more.
Mayhem goes for a small jab and connects. Now Mayhem goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Kivel stumbles back but Mayhem runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Kivel to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Kivel will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
