The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Gama does it's job there.

It looks like Arturo Gatti has been cut.
Gatti fails to land with a series of punches.
Gama throws a hook to the side of Gatti's head but Gatti sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gatti misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Gatti takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Gama lunges at Gatti with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gatti's hand.
Gatti throws a combination. Gama tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Gama uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gatti has time to react.

Gama digs a good hook to Gatti's body.
Gatti throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gama counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Gatti misses with a looping left.
Gama showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gatti.

Gama uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

No joy there for Gatti, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Gama knocks Gatti out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
