Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Begood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Holcomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Begood tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Holcomb paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Begood wants to clinch up but Holcomb keeps it at a distance.
Begood takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Johnny Begood has been cut.
Holcomb throws a series of punches but Begood moves out of range.
A jab from Holcomb does it's job there.
A jab from Begood misses.
Holcomb showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Begood.
Begood swings for the body but Holcomb moves out of range.
Begood on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Holcomb lands with a nice combination. Begood backs away looking to recover.
Holcomb throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Begood on the side of the head.

and Holcomb counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Holcomb lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Begood is rocked!

Holcomb throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Begood tumbling to the canvas!
Oh Begood is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Johnny Begood's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Holcomb postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Begood seems to have got his legs back now.
Holcomb looking to pass the guard.

Holcomb throws a strike but Begood rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Holcomb pulls Begood in to control the position.
Holcomb keeping moving, preventing Begood from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holcomb is adopting a defensive guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Begood looks to land a right hand but Holcomb moved out of range.
Holcomb catches Begood with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Begood throws out a loose jab but Holcomb uses good head movement to avoid it.
Holcomb circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Begood. Those never looked like landing.
Johnny Begood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Begood fails with an attempt to clinch.
Holcomb stuffs the takedown.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Begood has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Holcomb finds it's way round the side to connect with Begood's head.

Jeez, Johnny Begood's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Begood is breathing heavily.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Johnny Begood's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
