Keynes comes to the cage accompanied by Concerto for Four Violins in B minor. Daniels has chosen Kvelertak - Blodtørst as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Keynes clinches up with Daniels and pushes him back against the cage.
Keynes tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Daniels's elbow.

Daniels's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Keynes throws a hook but Daniels blocks it.
Keynes's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Keynes duly obliges.

Daniels fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Keynes throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Keynes staying out of range there.
Daniels throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daniels checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Keynes goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Keynes fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Daniels.
Daniels throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Keynes's head.
John Keynes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Keynes throws a low kick but it's checked well by Daniels.

Keynes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Keynes just misses with a punch to the body.
Daniels checks the leg kick nicely there.
Keynes shoots for a takedown but Daniels saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Keynes closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Daniels's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daniels is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Keynes prevents Daniels from getting back to his feet.
Daniels looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jim Daniels.

Daniels shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Keynes scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Keynes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Daniels but Daniels pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Keynes throws a head kick that misses.
Keynes scores with a shot to the body.
Daniels lands a glancing blow to the side of Keynes's head.
Keynes throws a head kick but Daniels moves out of range.
Daniels shoots in for a takedown but Keynes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
John Keynes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Daniels.
Keynes sizes up Daniels with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Keynes connects with a leg kick. Daniels looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Daniels avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Daniels throws a leg kick but Keynes sees it coming and moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Keynes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Daniels steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Keynes. That one must have hurt.
Daniels misses the shot to the body.
Keynes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Daniels manages to avoid it.
Daniels on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Keynes throws a head kick that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Keynes, right into the meat.
Keynes misses with a looping right.

Keynes shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Keynes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.


Daniels is rocked!

Keynes is looking for a kimura but Daniels is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Keynes to get the leverage.
Daniels is still in real trouble! Can Keynes finish him?
Daniels is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Keynes scores with a couple of nice shots.
Keynes lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Daniels quite badly. Daniels pulls Keynes in close trying to recover. Keynes postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Daniels on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Daniels doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Keynes!
