Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Brezhnev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor's entrance music is Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Brezhnev's choice of entrance music: Coheed and Cambria - Devil in Jersey City. Mikhail Brezhnev struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Mikhail Brezhnev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brezhnev pinned against the cage. Brezhnev gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Taylor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brezhnev's waist but Brezhnev gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Taylor off to one side.

Mason Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brezhnev stuns Taylor with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Brezhnev counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A nice combination there by Taylor.
Taylor is looking to wear down Brezhnev with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Taylor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brezhnev manages to avoid it.
Taylor lands a nice hook to Brezhnev's body. Brezhnev takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Brezhnev connects with a right that clearly hurt Taylor. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Brezhnev proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Taylor collapses and taps out under the pressure!
