Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Casey Silk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Dunne!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunne thows a body shot but no joy.
Dunne takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dunne showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silk.
Silk lands a slapping body shot.
Dunne lands a body shot.
Dunne connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Silk misses with an uppercut. Dunne saw that one coming.
Dunne digs a good hook to Silk's body.
Silk displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dunne.
Silk shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Silk jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Silk shoots in for a takedown but Dunne shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silk throws a combination that misses

and Dunne counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dunne.

Dunne seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Dunne pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silk is keeping the position for now.
Silk pulls Dunne in close to prevent any damage.
Silk looking for a sweep. Not yet Silk, not yet.
Silk manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dunne is desperately trying to improve his position but Silk has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dunne is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silk in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Dunne working to try and regain half guard.
Dunne wants to hold on but Silk pushes him away.
Silk prevents Dunne from getting the reversal.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silk lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.


Dunne is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Silk! Dunne is hurt baaadly! Silk is firing away with more strikes - Dunne is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Casey Silk!
