The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alves closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Alves thows an elbow strike that misses. Margules gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Alves doesn't seem too bothered but Margules quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Alves is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Alves really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
