Clooten comes to the cage accompanied by Hot Ride by The Prodigy. Said Alibekov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Matt Clooten's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alibekov tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Alibekov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Alibekov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nice shot by Clooten.
Clooten connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Clooten fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Clooten scores with a nice body kick.
Nice cross by Clooten.
Alibekov misses with a shot to the body
and Clooten counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Alibekov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Clooten decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Alibekov's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Clooten is pushing down on Alibekov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Alibekov is fighting to maintain full guard but Clooten has managed to sneak the leg through.
Clooten lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Clooten lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Clooten lands a nice short elbow.
Clooten works his way into full mount!
Alibekov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clooten. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clooten is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Alibekov is forced to tap! Great finish!
