Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tiger JonesJr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvi Kalaso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalaso is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: shut em down. Harvi Kalaso has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JonesJr throws a left and a right that both miss

and Kalaso counters with a shoot takedown. JonesJr fights it but they end up in guard.
Kalaso stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. JonesJr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kalaso prevents JonesJr from getting back to his feet.
JonesJr keeping moving, preventing Kalaso from controlling successfully.
Kalaso is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
It looks like Kalaso might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Harvi Kalaso wasn't active enough on the ground.
Kalaso lands with a nice body punch.

Kalaso shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in JonesJr's guard.
JonesJr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kalaso on the ground.
Kalaso is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
JonesJr wants to stand up but Kalaso is controlling him.
Kalaso not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kalaso works his foot free and advances to mount.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Kalaso! JonesJr is hurt baaadly! Kalaso is firing away with more strikes - JonesJr is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
