Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Machete Juarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jethro Sherdog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juarez comes into the arena with Remember the Name blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sherdog is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close round but I would say that Machete Juarez will probably get the nod.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jethro Sherdog hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Sherdog stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Juarez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Juarez throws a right hand that Sherdog ducks under and follows up with a left that Sherdog also avoids with ease.
Sherdog feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Machete Juarez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sherdog closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sherdog is nestled in close to Juarez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sherdog is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sherdog seems to be working for a kimura but Juarez defends the submission attempt.

Sherdog looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sherdog is stalling here. Juarez is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sherdog seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Juarez has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Machete Juarez.
I think Juarez has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
