The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza fails to land the takedown.
Parker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Souza.
Parker throws a left that rocks Souza and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Parker dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Souza regain composure!

It looks like Carlos Souza has been cut.
Parker looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Souza is avoiding damage well.
Oh Souza is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Parker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Souza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Parker darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Souza's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Parker before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
