Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jared Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Rdrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Under and Over it by Five Finger Death Punch . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rdrigues closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Johnson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rdrigues wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Johnson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Rdrigues is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Johnson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rdrigues is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rdrigues.
Rdrigues looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Johnson is trying to control but can't.
Johnson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rdrigues's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rdrigues's back!
Rdrigues turns into Johnson and is now in his guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rdrigues takes a little break here. Johnson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rdrigues goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Johnson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rdrigues but great work by Johnson.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
