Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Asdington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis comes to the cage accompanied by Fort minor Ft. 50 Cent&Eminem - Remember the name Remix. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Junior Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, George Asdington!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asdington fails with the takedown
and Lewis counters with a stiff right hand.
Lewis misses with a wild body shot.
Asdington needs to keep his hands up - Lewis had a free shot at his head there.

Lewis stands up from Asdington's guard - Lewis perhaps looking for a knockout.
Lewis throws a sloppy body shot

and Asdington counters with a shoot takedown. Lewis fights it but they end up in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Asdington won't allow Lewis to sweep him here.
Lewis seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Lewis pushes Asdington off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Asdington gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Asdington shoots and misses

and Lewis counters with a left and a right that hurts Asdington! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Lewis jumps into full mount!
Junior Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Asdington.

Lewis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Asdington is trying desperately to improve position.
Lewis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Junior Lewis has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Lewis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Asdington to the ground. Lewis is now in Asdington's guard.

Lewis stands and throws Asdington's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Asdington seems a little lost for a moment, as Lewis dominates the positioning.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Asdington has eaten all the pies!
Lewis seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Asdington for as long as he can get away with.

Lewis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Junior Lewis has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Lewis throws a series of punches but Asdington avoids them all with ease.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Lewis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Asdington at a distance.
Lewis looks to land a combination but Asdington avoids it well.
Lewis scores with a hook to the body. Asdington takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Asdington drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

George Asdington is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lewis takes a swing at Asdington's ribcage but misses.
Lewis misses with a low kick.
Asdington is breathing heavily.
Lewis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Lewis cracks Asdington with a right hand to the side of the head.
Junior Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lewis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lewis showed some decent athleticism there.
Lewis works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lewis content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

We're going to have a standup here because Junior Lewis wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Lewis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lewis showed some decent athleticism there.
Lewis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Junior Lewis dominated that second round.
That's time! Lewis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Lewis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

and Lewis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Asdington takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Lewis throws a series of punches but Asdington avoids them all with ease.

Lewis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Asdington on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Lewis dips to his left and cracks Asdington with an uppercut!
Lewis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Lewis.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Lewis digs a good hook to Asdington's body.
Lewis lands with a hook. Asdington tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lewis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Asdington has time to react.
Lewis throws a one two combo.
Junior Lewis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Asdington takes a shot right to the bread basket.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Asdington takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
George Asdington has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Lewis has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
