Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Valderen Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valderen Silva could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sub Zero's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sub Zero!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Zero had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Zero Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead.
Silva rolls, trying to escape but Zero keeps control of the position.

Zero punches the canvas rather than the man.

Zero cracks Silva with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Silva from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Silva is trapped and Zero is scoring with shots to the head and body.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zero has his opponent's back but Silva is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Zero.

Zero bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Zero is tying to control. Silva wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Zero throwing shots but Silva is blocking nicely.
Zero is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Silva is wriggling around trying to escape.

Zero loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Silva scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Zero land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Zero stands and salutes the crowd.
