Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ross Crede (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heimo Vesa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crede comes to the cage accompanied by London Dungeon by The Misfits. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ross Crede!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Heimo Vesa!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vesa misses with a body punch
and Crede counters with a right hand to the body.

Crede feints and as Vesa raises his hands in defense, Crede changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Vesa is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Crede in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Vesa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Crede has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Crede with a flurry of punches that miss.
Vesa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Heimo Vesa wasn't active enough on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Vesa stays in close to Crede's body and controls the position.

Vesa throws a sloppy head kick and Crede moves out of range easily.

It looks like Ross Crede has been cut.
Vesa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Crede fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Vesa manages to avoid it.

Crede shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Vesa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vesa seems keen to control Crede's posture.

Crede cracks Vesa with a solid left hand.
Vesa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Vesa preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vesa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Crede trying to control the position from guard on top but Vesa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Crede is fighting to break Vesa's control of his arms but Vesa is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crede accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Vesa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crede's guard.
Crede wants to sweep but no luck.
Crede keeping full guard, as Vesa tries to pass.
Crede wants to sweep here but Vesa controlling him for the moment.
Vesa tries to free his leg and advance position but Crede is retaining full guard.

Vesa gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Vesa misses with a body shot.
Nice jab there from Vesa.
Vesa with a nice cross.
Vesa throws a right and a left that both miss.

Vesa tries to sprawl but Crede drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Vesa looks like he's trying to stand up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Crede is trying to work for a kimura but Vesa is defending well.
Vesa gets back to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crede accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vesa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Vesa tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Crede is looking to work some ground and pound but Vesa has wrist control.
Vesa pulls Crede in close to prevent any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Crede stops Vesa from standing up.
Crede throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Heimo Vesa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Ross Crede's cut.
That's time! Crede's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Vesa swings for the body but Crede moves out of range.
Vesa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crede.
Vesa throws a lazy uppercut

and Crede counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Vesa!
Crede putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vesa in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Crede postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Vesa badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Crede around the waist but Crede pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Crede is the winner by TKO! Crede jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ross Crede!
