Ante kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Da Mystery of Chessboxin'. Dirk Ante has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sarat.
Nice combo by Ante! Oh, that's hurt him - Sarat falls to the canvas and Ante follows him into side control.

Sarat is rocked!

It looks like George Sarat has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sarat trying to remain calm as Ante controls from the top position.
Sarat is still in real trouble! Can Ante finish him?

Ante decides to stand back up.
Sarat shoots in looking for a takedown. Ante tries to sprawl out of it but Sarat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ante manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sarat shoots in but no luck this time.
Sarat seems to have recovered his senses.
Dirk Ante has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Sarat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ante digs a good body shot into Sarat's ribs.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sarat looks gassed!
Ante connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sarat momentarily.
Ante lands with a right and another and another! Sarat is in big trouble! Ante lands again and this time it's lights out for Sarat! A quality knockout there for Ante.
