The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brashear scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Harlamov thows a huge punch but Brashear dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harlamov is looking to control Brashear's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Harlamov avoid being mounted?

Brashear thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Harlamov's head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harlamov is staying active underneath Brashear, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Brashear wants to stand up but Harlamov has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Brashear is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Brashear in particular looking to stall.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Garik Harlamov hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Brashear on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brashear tries to get out of the position.

Brashear has his hands clasped together but Harlamov extends an breaks Brashear's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Harlamov.
