Dias has chosen Mortal Kombat Theme as his entrance music. Tate Thai Guy is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Rj Dias!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai Guy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Dias shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thai Guy as he jumps to the side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thai Guy is pressed up against the ropes. Dias has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thai Guy down to the mat. Thai Guy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Dias closes the distance and clinches.
Thai Guy tries to stall but Dias uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Thai Guy prevents Dias from breaking the clinch.
Dias misses with a punch on the inside.

Dias is trying to maintain a safe position but Thai Guy gets an underhook and turns Dias into the ropes.

Dias is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dias has a closed guard, preventing Thai Guy from standing up.
Thai Guy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dias lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Thai Guy!

That was a close round but I would say that Tate Thai Guy will probably get the nod.

Dias throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thai Guy's waist but Thai Guy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dias off to one side.
Dias shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thai Guy as he avoids it easily.
Thai Guy tries to land a front kick but Dias steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tate Thai Guy.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Thai Guy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
