Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Mystery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyov Kirijenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mr Mystery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lyov Kirijenko!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mystery tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Kirijenko manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from Kirijenko. No joy for Mystery on that attempt.
Kirijenko swings for the body but Mystery moves out of range.
Kirijenko dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kirijenko lands a jab to the head.
Mystery throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mystery.
Kirijenko throws a predictable looking body shot
and Mystery counters with a nice body kick.
Kirijenko scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Mystery tries to improve position but can't.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mystery manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kirijenko's best efforts.
Mystery is not content to let Kirijenko control the position.
Kirijenko landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kirijenko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mystery keeps working.
Mystery is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kirijenko uses his free foot to push down on Mystery's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mystery.
Kirijenko prevents Mystery from getting the reversal.

Mystery tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mystery is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kirijenko controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kirijenko breaks from Mystery's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Kirijenko takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Mystery tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kirijenko cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mystery is rocked!
Mystery keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Oh Mystery is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kirijenko unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Mystery wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Kirijenko celebrates on the ropes and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lyov Kirijenko!
