Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kenyon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and New York Strangler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenyon comes to the cage accompanied by The Illinois Enema Bandit. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strangler shoots in looking for a takedown. Kenyon tries to sprawl out of it but Strangler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kenyon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kenyon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Strangler pinned against the cage. Strangler gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kenyon clobbers Strangler with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Strangler ducks under a wild hook from Kenyon.
Strangler looks for a takedown but Kenyon sprawls well.

Strangler gets caught napping as Kenyon dives in and scores a takedown. Strangler manages to retain guard.

Strangler shoots in for a takedown but Kenyon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Michael Kenyon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Strangler tries to clinch up but Kenyon circles away and keeps his distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kenyon throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Strangler counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kenyon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown by Kenyon or perhaps it was just good defense by Strangler which made him look bad.

Kenyon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Strangler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kenyon's guard.
Strangler is trying to control. Kenyon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
