Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mackin Morning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonah Rowlah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowlah lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morning circles away quickly and effectively.
Morning swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Morning rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rowlah moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Morning shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rowlah eats them both and turns towards Morning to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Jonah Rowlah has been cut.
Rowlah throws a series of punches but Morning avoids them all with ease.
Rowlah showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Morning.
Rowlah looks for a takedown but Morning sprawls well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's time! Morning's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rowlah shoots in looking for a takedown. Morning tries to sprawl out of it but Rowlah keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Morning manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Morning lands a left and a right that send Rowlah crashing to the mat, dazed. Morning thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Mackin Morning is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rowlah just misses with a punch to the body.
Morning throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Morning ducks under a wild hook from Rowlah.
No joy there for Morning, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rowlah closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Morning quickly recovers to half guard.

Rowlah goes for an armbar but Morning turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Morning.

Rowlah has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Morning is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rowlah.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rowlah jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Morning is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Morning and Rowlah has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Rowlah thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
