Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keenin Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glass Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glass Joe acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keenin Klein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glass Joe!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klein misses with a wild combination.

Klein gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Joe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klein swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Joe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Klein tries to bum rush Joe with a series of wild strikes but Joe uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Joe gets a takedown into half guard.
Klein is breathing heavily.
Joe wants to free his trapped foot but Klein is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Joe stops Klein from getting back to his feet.
Joe not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Joe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Klein keeps working.
Joe wants to pass to mount but Klein is defending the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Joe is nestled in close to Klein, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Joe won't let Klein get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Joe goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Klein is on top in guard.

Joe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Klein is looking to stand up but Joe isn't so interested in that idea.

Joe winds up and cracks Klein with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Joe lands a nice short elbow.

Joe is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Klein is just riding it out for now. Joe eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Joe postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Klein looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Klein misses with a double jab.
Joe keeps the fight on the outside.

Joe shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Joe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Klein looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Joe cracks Klein with a big right hand but Klein just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Joe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Klein, who protects the arm well.

Klein is squirming around, avoiding Joe's attempts to control the action.

Joe has hold of Klein's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Klein manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Joe tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Joe lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Joe goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Klein is on top in guard.
Klein wants to stand but Joe has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Joe throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Klein decides to stand up, so the ref orders Joe to his feet.

Joe wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Joe drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Klein gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Joe jumps guard but Klein stands there with Joe around his waist. Joe gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Klein has momentary wrist control but Joe slips an elbow through the middle.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Joe's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Joe drops back looking for a leg! Klein is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Klein manages to kick Joe off! Joe jumps back into Klein's guard.
Joe is in close to Klein's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Joe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Joe stands and steps away. Klein gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Klein doesn't manage to clinch there - Joe circles away.

Joe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Glass Joe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Klein's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Joe is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Klein knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Klein for a finish.
