Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Kirov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Balon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balon has chosen Dawaj na ring as his entrance music. Mariusz Balon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mariusz Balon!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balon feints and as Kirov raises his hands in defense, Balon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kirov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Balon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Kirov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

It looks like Balon might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Let's hope that Balon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Balon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kirov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mariusz Balon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well Balon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
