The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas misses with a body kick.
Thomas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Watson.
Thomas jabs Watson right on the nose. Watson blinks but takes it well.
Thomas is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Thomas connects with a high kick.

It looks like Chris Watson has been cut.
Thomas misses with a few strikes there.
Brad Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thomas throws a big shot that misses.
Watson moves out of range of the strikes.
Thomas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Thomas throws a looping overhand right but Watson ducks down to avoid it.
Watson blocks a head kick by Thomas .
Thomas lunges at Watson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Watson's hand.
Nice uppercut lands for Thomas . That snapped Watson's head back.
Thomas jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Thomas lands a really nice looking cross but Watson seems unphased.
Thomas throws a series of punches but Watson avoids them all with ease.
Watson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Watson takes a kick to the side of the head.
Watson fails with the takedown

and Thomas counters with a head kick that drops Watson to the mat! Watson scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

A telegraphed right hand from Thomas misses the target.
Thomas cracks Watson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Thomas throws a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thomas moves into range and connects with a jab.

That has opened up Chris Watson's cut even more.
Watson takes one on the button.

Thomas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Thomas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Watson on the side of the head.
Watson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The cut above Chris Watson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Thomas throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Watson is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
