Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Check Mong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Kjellstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I ain't never scared. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mong shoots in for a takedown but Kjellstrom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Kjellstrom swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mong is now in Kjellstrom's guard. A big mistake from Kjellstrom there, giving up the dominant position!

Kjellstrom is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mong defends well.
Mong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kjellstrom swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mong is nestled in close to Kjellstrom, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Mong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A big strike lands for Mong! That's really hurt Kjellstrom and he's turned his back - Mong keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Mong jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
