The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amparo shoots and misses
and Shevchenko counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Shevchenko misses with a takedown attempt
and Amparo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Shevchenko won't be happy with that.
Amparo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Shevchenko has escaped the position, nice work there.
Amparo is working to tighten is grip on Shevchenko's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Shevchenko has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Amparo is really squeezing tight and eventually Shevchenko passes out! Amparo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
