Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norman Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Jonson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bates comes to the cage accompanied by Hmmm... Interesting.... The crowd seem to be enjoying Jonson's choice of entrance music: Stronger. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson misses with a few strikes there.

Bates showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jonson.
Bates swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jonson walks into a straight right hand from Bates.

It looks like Carl Jonson has been cut.

and Bates counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sloppy strikes from Bates. Those never looked like landing.

Jonson throws a nice looking combination but Bates bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Bates shoots in looking for a takedown but Jonson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bates's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bates connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jonson. Jonson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Jonson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bates cracks Jonson's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Jonson slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Bates can do further damage! This one is done, son!
