The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aho throws the left hand but Fazz avoids the punch easily.
Fazz tries to work over Aho's front leg with a kick but Aho checks it.
Fazz connects with a leg kick. Aho looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Fazz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Aho on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Aho misses with a hook to the body
and Fazz counters with a solid body kick.
Fazz with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fazz lands a leg kick that knocks Aho off balance momentarily.
Fazz lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Aho throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Quizz Al Fazz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aho chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fazz can pounce on him.

Fazz feints and then cracks Aho's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aho down.

Fazz moves into range and clinches up with Aho.
Aho takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Martti Aho has been cut.
Fazz prevents Aho from breaking the clinch.
Aho wants to break the clinch but can't.
Fazz stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Fazz lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Aho wants to break free but Fazz has control.
Aho is trying to break free.
Fazz lands an elbow just above Aho 's eye.
Fazz throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ahos head.
Fazz landing some nice looking knees to the body.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fazz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aho.

and Fazz counters with a head kick. That will keep Aho thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Fazz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aho swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Fazz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Aho takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Fazz in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Fazz throws a push kick but Aho slaps the foot to one side.
Aho will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

and Aho counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The fight stays on the outside here - Fazz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Fazz makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Aho really felt that one!

Well Fazz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
