PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Poszynk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poszynk comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica- Iron Man Cover. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poszynk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lesnar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lesnar keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Poszynk is looking to control Lesnar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Poszynk avoid being mounted?

OK we're going to have a standup here. Brock Lesnar hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Poszynk throws a right and a left that both miss.

Lesnar's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Poszynk is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lesnar connects with a decent elbow.

Lesnar throws an elbow but Poszynk slips to the side and avoids it well.
Lesnar remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
It looks like Lesnar might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Poszynk is trying to control Lesnar's posture but Lesnar avoids it.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Poszynk tries to buck Lesnar off but Lesnar is having none of it.
Lesnar scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Poszynk to see if he's OK.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lesnar shoots for a takedown but Poszynk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Poszynk lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Lesnar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lesnar wants to control for a moment but Poszynk uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

Lesnar is concentrating on defense, preventing Poszynk from advancing position.

Lesnar wants to improve his position but Poszynk is controlling well.
Lesnar controlling the position for now.
Poszynk is pressing down on Lesnar's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lesnar is holding on for now.

Poszynk is trying to work for a kimura but Lesnar is defending well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Poszynk is trying to control. Lesnar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Poszynk is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lesnar is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Fedor Poszynk.
Lesnar slips a jab and a cross from Poszynk.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lesnar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

And that's the end of the fight!
Fedor Poszynk showed his dominance in that final round.
