Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mikael Sjoberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hiro Sakurai!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sjoberg clinches with his opponent.
Sakurai tries for a takedown. No joy.
Sakurai tries to break the clinch but Sjoberg is controlling the position.
Sakurai goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sjoberg prevents it.
Sakurai wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sakurai gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sjoberg.
Sakurai is pressed up against the ropes. Sjoberg has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sakurai down to the mat. Sakurai avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sjoberg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sakurai tries to avoid it but Sjoberg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sakurai to the ground. Sakurai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikael Sjoberg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sjoberg closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Sakurai misses with a looping left.
Sjoberg forces Sakurai back against the ropes and clinches.
Sjoberg has Sakurai pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sjoberg pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sakurai tumbling to the mat - Sjoberg dives into Sakurai's guard.
Sakurai manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sjoberg manages to get himself to full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sjoberg holds on and takes a little breather.
Sakurai looking to sit in guard and control but Sjoberg gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Sjoberg forces his way into half guard.
Sakurai controlling the position well.
Sjoberg is tying to control. Sakurai wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Sjoberg is really struggling to control Sakurai but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Sjoberg is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sakurai is just riding it out for now. Sjoberg eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Sjoberg is breathing heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sjoberg prevents Sakurai from improving his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sjoberg tries to clinch there but Sakurai circles away.
Good leg kick by Sakurai there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sakurai cracks the inside of Sjoberg's front leg.
Sakurai lands a head kick that stumbles Sjoberg and the fighters go to the mat.
It looks like Mikael Sjoberg has been cut.
Sakurai sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sjoberg's guard.
Sakurai is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sjoberg is just riding it out for now. Sakurai eventually gives up the hold.

Sjoberg moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Sjoberg is looking to improve his position.
Sakurai is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sjoberg doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sakurai.
Sjoberg is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Sakurai is tapping! Great win for Sjoberg!
