Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Head is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Don't sit down 'cause I've moved your chair. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Head rushes Gracie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Head escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Head tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Head which made him look bad.

Royce Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Head pinned against the cage. Head gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick misses from Head.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Head sprawls well. Head wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Head fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Head has Gracie up against the cage in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Head manages to break the clinch.
Head stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Head wants it to stay on the feet.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Head tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Head manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gracie takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Head feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Head wants to stand but Gracie is controlling his posture from full guard.

Gracie is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Head rolls with it to try and escape but Gracie cranks on the arm and Head is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
