The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lexus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Selby will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Selby shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lexus sprawls well. Lexus wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Selby gets slowly back to his feet.
Selby looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Selby on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Selby tries to get out of the position.
Selby takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Selby is breathing heavily.

Lexus is working Selby over with some ground and pound from side control.
Lexus lands a nice forearm strike.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lexus working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Oh Selby is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Selby tries to improve position but can't.
Selby seems to have got his legs back now.
Lexus lands a few punches from side control.
Selby seems a little lost for a moment, as Lexus dominates the positioning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lexus closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Selby quickly recovers to half guard.
Selby on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Lexus is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Selby is hurt! He's hurt bad - Lexus fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Selby from any more punishment! Congratulations to Lexus! Great finish!
