Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hyde Vamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sterling Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hyde Vamp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sterling Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vamp throws a leg kick but Jordan moved away.
Vamp looks for the body kick but Jordan saw that one coming.
Vamp throws a right and a left that both miss.
A swing and a miss from Jordan.
Vamp walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Hyde Vamp has been cut.

Vamp looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Jordan is trying to control but can't.

We're going to have a standup here because Hyde Vamp wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Vamp bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vamp is working for a kimura but Jordan is defending it quite comfortably.

Vamp is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jordan is just riding it out for now. Vamp eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round but I would say that Hyde Vamp will probably get the nod.

Vamp wants to take a breather but Jordan manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Vamp.

Hyde Vamp overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Vamp throws a strike but Jordan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Vamp here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Jordan lands a nice shot that snaps Vamp's head back.

Vamp feints and as Jordan raises his hands in defense, Vamp changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jordan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jordan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Vamp!

BOOM! Jordan connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Jordan winds up and cracks Vamp with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jordan.
Jordan scores with a one two! Vamp had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jordan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

I would just about give that final round to Sterling Jordan.
