The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daebak gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Daebak is trying to keep Rage in close.
Rage stands and throws Daebak's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rage working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Rage works to advance to full mount. Daebak defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Daebak is squirming around, avoiding Rage's attempts to control the action.
Daebak is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Rage with shots to the head and body - Daebak looks very uncomfortable down there.
Rage lands a big shot there that rocks Daebak but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Rage throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Rage throws some wild stikes that Daebak manages to avoid easily.
Daebak is trying to stand up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rage lands with some strikes.
Rage wants to control the pace but Daebak is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Rage can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Daebak is looking to escape.
Rage lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Daebak is rocked!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Rage closes the distance looking for a takedown. Daebak stuffs it but Rage still has hold of him. Rage picks Daebak up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Rage slams Daebak to the floor and that's really hurt Daebak - he doesn't know where he is! Rage throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
