Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Truman Roosevelt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deacon Griggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griggs has chosen Church by T-Pain as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roosevelt misses with a head kick.
Griggs doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Roosevelt counters with an inside leg kick.
Griggs fails with a takedown attempt.
Roosevelt throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Griggs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Griggs takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Nice takedown defense from Roosevelt. No joy for Griggs on that attempt.
Truman Roosevelt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Deacon Griggs.
Roosevelt stuns Griggs with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Griggs throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roosevelt's waist but Roosevelt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Griggs off to one side.
Roosevelt lands a nice leg kick that just misses Griggs's sensitive parts.
Griggs looks gassed!
Griggs looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Griggs loads up on a big right hand but Roosevelt slips the punch.
Roosevelt lands a nice looking body kick.
Griggs takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Griggs takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Roosevelt lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Griggs walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Griggs stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Roosevelt.
Roosevelt feints and then cracks Griggs's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Griggs down.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Roosevelt. Griggs shrugs it off though.
Roosevelt thows a body kick. Griggs tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Roosevelt throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Griggs avoids a kick to the body.
Roosevelt scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Griggs doesn't seem bothered though.
Roosevelt throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Griggs's head.
Griggs has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Roosevelt.

Clinched against the cage, Roosevelt lands a big elbow that drops Griggs! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Griggs is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
