Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Werdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins misses with a kick to the body.
Werdum circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jenkins works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jenkins gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Crunch! Jenkins slams his shin into Werdum's torso.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jenkins scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Werdum is looking to get back to is feet but Jenkins passes into side control.

Jenkins tries to score with some ground and pound. Werdum controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Werdum manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Jenkins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Werdum is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jenkins is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Werdum pulls his head out easily.

Werdum is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jenkins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Werdum.

Werdum looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Werdum seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jenkins is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
