Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlisle Estanova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Utah Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones has Estanova up against the cage in a clinch.
Estanova is trying to push Jones away but Jones has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jones feints and then cracks Estanova's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Estanova down.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Estanova shows good takedown defense.
Estanova throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jones slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Estanova wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
