The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dumile bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dumile jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dumile slips under a jab from Klimas.
Klimas throws a big shot that misses.
Klimas scores with a jab. Dumile acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Klimas misses with an uppercut. Dumile saw that one coming.
Klimas throws a nice looking combination but Dumile bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The fighters circling - Klimas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Dumile counters with a shoot takedown. Klimas fights it but they end up in guard.

Klimas has momentary wrist control but Dumile slips an elbow through the middle.

Dumile throws a strike but Klimas rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Dumile has his foot on Klimas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Klimas works his way back into a safe position though.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dumile is on top in guard.
Dumile throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Klimas works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Klimas wants to get back to his feet.
Klimas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dumile on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dumile is taking a breather. Klimas says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Klimas wants to control but Dumile is keeping busy and won't allow it.
