Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers lands a really nice looking cross but Nero seems unphased.
Rogers lands with a good body shot.
Rogers throws a body punch but Nero moves out of range.
Nero avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rogers misses with a wild combination.
Nero drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Nero pushes down on Rogers's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nero decides to stand up.
Rogers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rogers throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nero takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rogers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nero has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nero doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Nero manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rogers manages to get himself to full guard.
Rogers wants to stand and escape but Nero is having none of it.
Nero stands up and waves to Rogers to follow him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rogers. Nero does a little dance to reset his feet.

Nero keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rogers's efforts to push away.
Nero gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rogers regains guard.
Rogers wants to stand up but Nero is controlling him.

Nero decides to stand and escape the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nero closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rogers to the mat! Rogers manages to get full guard.
Nero decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Rogers is looking to get back to is feet but Nero passes into side control.
Nero advances nicely into full mount.
Nero pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Nero is landing with some decent strikes but Rogers is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Nero looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Rogers covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
