Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fabio Fagundes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richie Fanoogon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fagundes doesn't manage to clinch there - Fanoogon circles away.
Fagundes is looking to clinch.
Fagundes tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Fanoogon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fagundes moves to clinch but Fanoogon breaks away
and Fanoogon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fagundes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fanoogon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fagundes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fanoogon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fanoogon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fagundes is looking to clinch.
Fagundes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fagundes is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fagundes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fagundes tries to clinch but Fanoogon is having none of it.
Fagundes wants to clinch but Fanoogon slips to the side

and Fanoogon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Fagundes wants to sweep but no luck.
Fanoogon sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Fanoogon trying to control but Fagundes is working from the bottom.
Fagundes doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Fagundes throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Fanoogon passes Fagundes's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Fagundes is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Fagundes is in a horrible position here. Fanoogon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Fagundes swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Fagundes is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fagundes has given up his back.
Fanoogon is looking to control Fagundes but Fagundes is wriggling around and keeping busy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fanoogon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Fanoogon is hanging on to Fagundes's back as he tries to escape.
Fagundes is keeping busy.

Fanoogon is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Fagundes is tapping out! This one is all over!
