Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Slim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, young folks. The key to victory for Paul Silva has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slim swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Silva gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Slim to score an easy takedown into full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Silva will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva wants to clinch but Slim slips to the side

and Slim counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.
Slim controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Slim seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jim Slim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

and Slim decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Silva's guard.
Slim with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Slim has picked Silva up - he's going for a ride! Slim dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Slim is just content to waste time from the top position. Silva takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
