Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calico James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Cifer Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes to the cage accompanied by Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf . Calico James could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lou Cifer Jr's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lou Cifer Jr!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cifer Jr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and James counters with a shoot takedown. Cifer Jr fights it but they end up in guard.
James trying to control the position from guard on top but Cifer Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Calico James.

and James counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cifer Jr thinking.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

James tries to lock up and control but Cifer Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cifer Jr has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of James's face.
James is looking to improve his position but Cifer Jr isn't that keen on the idea.

Cifer Jr is keen to just control but James is a slippery customer.

James is looking for a sweep. Cifer Jr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
James wants to improve his position but Cifer Jr is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
James regains full guard. Nicely done.
Cifer Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cifer Jr's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Calico James will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
James avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cifer Jr tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
James just misses with a punch to the body.
Cifer Jr fails with the takedown
and James counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lou Cifer Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James lands with a shot to the body.
James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cifer Jr.

and James counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by James.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lou Cifer Jr has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
James jabs Cifer Jr to the body, keeping him at a distance.
James looks to land a combination but Cifer Jr avoids it well.
James fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
James has hold of Cifer Jr's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Cifer Jr seems comfortable defending it but James has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Cifer Jr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Cifer Jr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but James couldn't care less - he's delighted!
