Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeAngelo White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hashmallim Zadkiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Headstrong. Zadkiel has chosen Morbid Angel - God of emptiness as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. DeAngelo White has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zadkiel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
White misses with a hook.
White cracks Zadkiel with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Zadkiel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Zadkiel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but White moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Zadkiel throws a series of punches but White moves out of range.
White looks to land a left hand but Zadkiel moved out of range nicely.
Zadkiel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
White avoids the head kick by Zadkiel.
White throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Zadkiel dives in and grabs White's left leg, looking for a takedown. White pushes down on Zadkiel's head and hops out.

White looks to land a left hand but Zadkiel moved out of range nicely.
Zadkiel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from White.

Zadkiel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but White swivels and escapes.

White will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Zadkiel turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
White regains half guard.
White wants to control but Zadkiel is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Zadkiel prevents White from improving his position.
White is trying to maintain the position but Zadkiel is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. DeAngelo White wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Zadkiel moves out of range of the strikes.

White gets the takedown into side control.
White in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
White lands a decent elbow from side control.
You can see the frustration on Zadkiel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Zadkiel manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Zadkiel is looking to improve his position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zadkiel is staying active underneath White, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
White with the ground and pound but Zadkiel uses the opportunity to regain guard.

White postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Zadkiel can't keep his opponent in guard - White advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
White lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
White prevents Zadkiel from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

White lands an overhand right.
Zadkiel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily.
Zadkiel takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
White looks to land a left hand but Zadkiel moved out of range nicely.
White misses with an uppercut. Zadkiel saw that one coming.
White throws a hook but Zadkiel blocks it.

White is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

White shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

White lands a big shot there that rocks Zadkiel but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

White postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Zadkiel looks a forlorn figure.

White lands with some strikes.

It looks like Hashmallim Zadkiel has been cut.
White lands a big shot there that rocks Zadkiel but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Zadkiel tries to hold on but White pushes him away.

That has opened up Hashmallim Zadkiel's cut even more.

White loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Zadkiel scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from White land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. White stands and salutes the crowd.
