The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Johnson.
Johnson moves into the clinch successfully.
Johnson gets control of Lindroos's arms and successfully pulls guard. Johnson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lindroos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lindroos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lindroos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Johnson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lindroos escapes and throws Johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Lindroos throws a strike aimed at the side of Johnson's head but Johnson avoids it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
