Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joey Shabadoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kichiro Takaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takaki has chosen Kagaya, Shu, Takaki - Alexey Rybnikov as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joey Shabadoo!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kichiro Takaki!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shabadoo shoots in but no luck this time.
Shabadoo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Takaki.

Shabadoo shoots in and gets a takedown into Takaki's guard.
Shabadoo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Shabadoo postures up in Takaki's guard and throws a big left but Takaki blocks it.
Shabadoo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Shabadoo trying to control but Takaki is working from the bottom.
Shabadoo throws and elbow that misses. Takaki uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Shabadoo's guard. Nice move by Takaki!

Takaki avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Takaki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shabadoo.
Takaki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shabadoo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shabadoo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Takaki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shabadoo somewhat.
Takaki seems to have recovered his senses.

Shabadoo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Takaki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Shabadoo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Takaki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Shabadoo has time to react.
Shabadoo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takaki swivels and escapes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Takaki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Takaki wants it to stay on the feet.
Takaki throws a hook but Shabadoo blocks it.
Shabadoo lands a leg kick that knocks Takaki off balance momentarily.
Shabadoo throws a chopping leg kick but Takaki manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shabadoo is defended easily by Takaki.

Shabadoo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Takaki regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Shabadoo.
Shabadoo is looking to work some ground and pound but Takaki has wrist control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takaki is staying active underneath Shabadoo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Takaki wants to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Joey Shabadoo.
Shabadoo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shabadoo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
