Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Jenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Couture has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Couture!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Jenson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture throws a series of punches but Jenson avoids them all with ease.
Andy Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jenson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Couture sprawls well. Couture wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jenson gets slowly back to his feet.
Jenson walks into a stiff left hand from Couture.
Couture rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jenson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jenson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Couture slaps away a takedown attempt from Jenson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jenson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Couture is fending him off so far but Jenson persists. Nope, Couture circles away and we're back to standing.
Andy Couture has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Jenson.
A combination from Couture does no damage.
Couture throws a right hand that Jenson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jenson also avoids with ease.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Couture cracks Jenson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Couture throws a hook but Jenson blocks it.
Couture misses with a series of wild punches.

Jenson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Couture tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jenson is in Couture's guard.

Couture has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jenson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Couture throws a push kick but Jenson slaps the foot to one side.
A combination from Couture does no damage.

Jenson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Couture's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jenson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Couture swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jenson stops Couture from standing up.
Jenson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Couture. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jenson is pushing down on Couture's leg trying to pass to half guard. Couture is fighting to maintain full guard but Jenson has managed to sneak the leg through.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jenson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenson prevents Couture from standing back up.
Couture is breathing heavily.
Jenson works his way into side control.
Jenson is putting a hurting on Couture here, landing some big shots from side control.
Jenson landing strikes.
Jenson cracks Couture with a big elbow.
Jenson working the head and body with strikes.
Jenson throws a strike aimed at the side of Couture's head but Couture avoids it well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jenson lands an elbow.
Jenson working the ground and pound from side control.
Couture wants to get back to his feet but Jenson drags him back down.
Jenson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Couture is rocked!
Jenson lands a nice forearm strike.
Oh Couture is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Couture taking punishment in the form of punches.
Jenson scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Couture is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Jenson can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
