The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winterbush gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Pac got a little sloppy there for a moment and Winterbush has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pac has managed to get both his arms back between Winterbush's legs - danger averted.
Winterbush not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Winterbush wants to sweep but no luck.

Winterbush looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Pac preventing the sweep.
Winterbush looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pac wants to get up but he can't break Winterbush's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Winterbush wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Pac lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Winterbush looks gassed!

Pac misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Biggie Pac is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Winterbush blocks a head kick by Pac.
Pac throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Pac wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Winterbush on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A chopping leg kick lands by Pac.
Pac lands a jab to the nose.
Pac lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Winterbush needs to keep his hands up - Pac had a free shot at his head there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A nice leg kick lands there from Pac.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Winterbush crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pac - the referee stops the clock and Winterbush gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pac. Winterbush manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pac lands with a hook. Winterbush tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Pac drops Winterbush with a beautiful combination! Winterbush stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pac is looking for the KO!
Pac fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Good leg kick by Pac there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Pac feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Winterbush sprawling to the canvas! Winterbush rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pac finish him?!

Winterbush is rocked!

It looks like Puffy Winterbush has been cut.
Pac fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Winterbush.
Winterbush is still on wobbly legs! Can Pac finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pac scores with a sloppy right hand. Winterbush should have avoided that one.
A chopping leg kick lands by Pac.
Winterbush glances at the clock... BAM! Pac nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Winterbush crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Winterbush is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
