The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fitch.

Fitch drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fisch manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fitch has Fisch in his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Fisch is looking for a sweep. Fitch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
